After-School Program: Grades K-5
RNH After School Program
Over the course of the year, kindergarten through 5th grade students discover new interests, build relationships with peers and group leaders, and have the opportunity to learn more about themselves. Each day includes recreation, snack, homework time, and a specialized activity.
Registration is open for the 2026-2027 school year.
Program hours run from 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm during the school year.
Children are picked up at P.S. 81 and P.S. 24, or met at the bus by a group leader.
The program runs from September through June. We are open for full days on select school holidays.
Tuition is $6,300 for 3 days a week, $6,500 for 4 days a week, and $6,700 for five days a week.
A Typical Day
Each day is a little bit different at Riverdale Neighborhood House’s After-School Program. Some days are devoted to gardening and cooking, while others are focused on African Dance, STEM, and yoga. Each day includes a designated time for homework and tutoring, snack, and physical activity.
