After-School Program
Grades K-5
RNH After School Program
Over the course of the year, kindergarten through 5th grade students discover new interests, build relationships with peers and group leaders, and have the opportunity to learn more about themselves. Each day includes recreation, snack, homework time, and a specialized activity.
Program hours run from 2:30 pm - 6:00 pm during the school year.
Children are picked up at P.S. 81 or met at the bus by a group leader.
We are open for full days on select school holidays.
Tuition is $6,000 for the 10 month program. Financial assistance is available.
A Typical Day
Each day is a little bit different at Riverdale Neighborhood House’s After-School Program. Some days are devoted to gardening and cooking, while others are focused on African Dance, STEM, and yoga. Each day includes a designated time for homework and tutoring, snack, and physical activity.

Our group leaders pick up students at PS 81 every day and walk them back to the RNH campus. If your student attends a different school, we will meet them at the bus drop-off.

We provide snack to all participants. Our campus is nut-free.
