Dan joined RNH in 1998 as Executive Director. He has over 30 years of business and management experience, including 20 years in the not-for-profit sector. He holds a B.S. from the University of Rochester and an M.B.A. from Western Connecticut State University’s Ancell School of Business.
Nancy Nuñez, Deputy Director of Youth Services nnunez@riverdaleonline.org
Nancy has led the Teen Program for more than 10 years and she oversees the operation and administration of the programs for children and teens from Kindergarten through 12th grade. Nancy has a B.S. in Community Health Education and an M.S. in Health Services Administration, as well as extensive experience in preventive health education.
Kristy holds a Bachelors Degree in Education and Psychology from the College of New Rochelle and a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership (Supervision and Administration) from Bank Street College of Education. She has worked as a classroom teacher, supervisor and staff developer in Early Childhood Programs, Head Start and most recently within the public school system. Kristy has also served as an Adjunct Professor in the Early Childhood Education Department at Westchester Community College.
Kathy Duffy, Manager of Recreation and Community Programs kduffy@riverdaleonline.org
Kathy joined the RNH staff over 20 years ago, first with the Early Childhood Program and then with the camp. She now manages the RNH Summer Pool Program. Kathy received a B.S. from Manhattan College and a Master’s degree in Physical Education from Lehman College.
Lidia Beqiraj, OST (Out-of-School-Time) Program Director lbeqiraj@riverdaleonline.org
Lidia has worked at RNH since 1996 and has led much of our literacy enrichment efforts in the After School Program. Before becoming the Director of our OST Program, Lidia was the Youth Development Coordinator, providing guidance to teens and counselors in our programs. She has a Baccalaureate Degree from Lehman College.
Kathy Powers, Early Childhood Coordinator kpowers@riverdaleonline.org
Kathy, a graduate of Boston University, joined RNH in 1996 as a facilitator of our playgroup for two-year-olds. Over the next few years, she assisted in all of the classes, utilizing her experience with the three- and four-year-olds. In 2001, with the beginning of the Universal Pre-Kindergarten program, Kathy accepted the position of Early Childhood Coordinator, working in both the classroom and the office.
