Staff Bios For Key RNH Staff
Daniel Eudene, Executive Director

Dan joined RNH in 1998 as Executive Director. He has over 25 years of business and management experience with over 15 of those years in the not-for-profit sector. He holds a Baccalaureate degree from the University of Rochester and an MBA from the Ancell School of Business at Western Connecticut State University.
Justine Fontinell, Development Director

Justine became RNH's first-ever Development Director when she joined the staff in 2004. She is responsible for fundraising and communications for the agency. Justine previously worked as the Development Officer for Dress for Success Worldwide, preceded by positions in journalism and public relations. She holds an honors M.S. from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
Etty Levy Bar-Shai, Deputy Director of Social Services

Etty has worked at RNH since 1988 and oversees the Senior Program and the Family Center. She studied Social Work at Hebrew University-Jerusalem and earned her Master's degree from the Wurzweiler School of Social Work; she also received her post-graduate certification in family and couples therapy from The Ackerman Institute For The Family in N.Y.C. Etty also serves as an adjunct at Columbia University.
Cathy Smith, Deputy Director of Children's Programs

Cathy has been with RNH for over 20 years. She is a NYS Certified Teacher and did her graduate work in early childhood studies. She started at RNH as a teacher in the full-time program and in 1987 was named Director of Early Childhood and in 1995 moved into her current position. Cathy also serves as an adjunct in the Teacher Education Department at the College of Mount St. Vincent.
Nancy Nuñez, Teen Program Director

Nancy has led the Teen Program for more than 10 years. She oversees the operation and administration of the program and supervises all program staff. Nancy has a B.S. in Community Health Education and a M.S. in Health Services Administration, as well as extensive experience in preventive health education.
Kathy Duffy, Administrative Director of School Age Programs

Kathy joined the RNH staff over 19 years ago, first with the Early Childhood Program, then the camp—she now manages both the After-School Program and the Summer Day Camp. Kathy received a B.S. from Manhattan College and a Master's degree in Physical Education from Lehman College.
Kathy Powers, Early Childhood Coordinator

Kathy, a graduate of Boston University, joined RNH in 1996 as a facilitator of our playgroup for two-year-olds. Over the next few years, she assisted in all of the classes, utilizing her experience with the three- and four-year-olds. In 2001, with the beginning of the Universal Pre-Kindergarten program, Kathy accepted the position of Early Childhood Coordinator, working in both the classroom and office.
