Early Childhood Programs

Looking for an affordable, high-quality early childhood education program in the Bronx? Think RNH! Accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), our programs are highly regarded by the NYC Department of Education and the NYC Administration for Children's Services (ACS). Plus, RNH is the only agency in the community to receive voucher funding from ACS for a range of childcare services as well as a sliding scale for families "in between".

Cinnamon Tree
Full-time childcare for three- and four-year-olds, this program allows parents to drop off children as early as 8:00 AM and pick them up as late as 6:00 PM. Offered five days a week, year-round.

Tuition subsidy vouchers for income-eligible families are accepted and a sliding scale is available. Four-year-olds living in New York City are entitled to participate in RNH's Universal Pre-Kindergarten initiative.

Cinnamon 'n' Spice
Our Nursery School for three- and four-year-olds allows children to learn through play. Daily activities include story time, block building, dramatic play, art and music. We are "parent friendly," providing numerous opportunities for parents and caregivers to observe or participate in our program.

• Classes for 3's: from 9 AM - 11:30 AM or 12:30 PM - 3:00 PM, September - June. Parents have the option of 2 or 3 days per week.
• Classes for 4's: part of the Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) program. This free program provides four-year-old children with a 5-day, full-day, pre-school experience from September to June.
